Welcome to the Rosemary Powell Watercolours website.

Rosemary has been painting watercolours for many years. Over a period of nearly 40 years she developed a reputation for accurate and detailed landscape paintings of the locality in which she lived - in East Cheshire, close to the Peak District. She sold many of her paintings through the annual art exhibition of the Society of Marple Artists.

This changed with a move to the Lake District in 2013.

She continues to paint watercolours, but viewed the move to the Lake District as retirment, and no longer paints as many pictures.

Most of her back catalogue is still available as prints.

Rosemary's work is featured in both public and private collections at home and abroad, winning many awards including the Derbyshire Watercolour prize at Buxton Art Gallery.

Rosemary will be exhibiting paintings and prints at this years Eskdale Art Show.
